I bought a Corbin seat for my DSR and flat love it! Changed the ergonomics well. Sharp looking too! The stock setup is abysmal and there are next to no after market solutions. My biggest grip is the foot pegs location and handle bars. I, too, love the power and smoothness. Range is a sad...
Thanks, this may work on the Zero's but have to see if the kit will tie into the master on the Zero. Just checking pictures I think it may. I have called Rekluse and spoke with the techs who are checking on this.
Could you tell us about the brake conversion kit you used? Own a 2023 Zero DSR 14.4 and hope to find a way of adding a mechanical front brake to the left handlebar.
I've owned a 2023 DSR for three weeks. The motor is fantastic in most respects. The ergonomics are atrocious, seat, pegs and bars are childish in design layout. Ill fitting, a real cafe racer posture with ridiculous foot-hip-elbow contortions required. Takes some getting used to and don't...
You are correct about my not thinking long enough before buying my DSR. However, what I am most disappointed over is the lack of options to modify my DSR and the poor customer service responses I received . Could you tell me what bars you went with?
I just bought a 2023 DSR and seriously regret the buy! Poorly designed machine and Zero Customer service could not possibly care less about helping owners resolve fit issues. Can't wait to get rid of this crap bike!
The seat is as low as you could make it unless you are willing to sit on the bare frame. These machines are poorly designed and Zero does not give a damn about helping any buyers resolve fit issues. I tried.
Nothing seems to be made after market wise for any of the Zero machine and the manufacturer has no interest in helping owners resolve fit issues. Sorry as heel I bought this crap bike!
Sadly bought a new 2023 DSR 14.4 , test road for 10 minutes and bought later. First ride I went 20 minutes and discovered the ergonomics are the absolute worst of my 78 motorcycles! The relationship between the foot pegs, seat and bars is about a bad as you could design. They designed the...
Oddly I get the same treatment at Electric Motorcycle Forum. Think they don't like me for some reason they are too chickenshit to relate. So I'll remain here na dwork toward making this forum better.
I've noticed most posts are old, very old in fact. Shame Zero doesn't have a damn clue as to what creates a strong customer base. Sorry I bought my DSR as it fits like crap, sorry seat, sick bars, foot pegs are ridiculous and next to no accessories available. The layout of the frame is fine...
Thanks! Picked up my DSR today and after a hour ride found the seat sucks seriously, the bars are ridiculous, and as I was about to leave the dealership I mentioned changing the bars and seat. The two techs told me not to change anything for two years as that would void the warranty. Sure...
Oh well, best laid plans and all. Like your relocation to the brake as that’s the perfect place. Did you disable the foot pedal and remove it? What was involved, wiring or more?
Great! Hope they rewarded you with a large gift card at the dealer........................just kidding. I'm going ahead with my DSR pickup next week but got a bit scared until I saw the problems get resolved. Not cool that you lost part of your riding season. Ride on...............
Sounds like a simple disassembly. I have learned, after messing up such work, to take pictures as I am taking things apart. helps to reassemble odd parts. Wrapping sounds like a easy way to change the looks of vehicles. Good luck!
I really like the looks of the rear fender on this model. Wondering if it can be found and installed on the new models? Just bought a 2023 DSR and it has an almost ghost like wire extension for the taillight.
